Coastal Azaleas

9″ x 12″ oil painting on a canvas panel

On the second day of painting with Phyllis Steimel and Beth Barger.  We went to Sneads Ferry and painted shrimp boats in the morning.  I didn’t like my results.  I need more practice painting boats on site.  That afternoon we went back near Paradise Point on base.  This is a walking path along the inlet.  I enjoyed chatting with children as they passed by on their way home from school.

  1. I like the hazy, leafy look of the trees.

    • Thank you. I like to work edges. Sometimes too much.
