Bowl of Oranges

12″ x 16″ oil painting on a canvas board

On our last painting day we had plans to paint with OOPS, Onslow Outdoor Painters Society at a quarry.  The weather was not cooperating.  So Bernie Rosage set up a beautiful still life with oranges in the middle of a work bay at his business.  It was great composition from almost every angle.  Phyllis and I had a wonderful time painting with OOPS, went to dinner, and we all participated in a critique of our paintings.  Thanks Bernie.

Painting trips alway end too quickly for me.  Especially when I get to opportunity to meet and paint with other artists.  But it was time to head back to Salisbury.

Our Plein Air Carolina, PAC,  group is growing.  There are many exciting places to paint in Salisbury too.
