Blue Willow and Copper Teapot

This is the larger version of my still life using the copper teapot and the Blue Willow plates.  There is more detail in the Blue Willow design of the plate in this larger painting.  I became interested in painting Blue Willow after hearing the Japanese story about the design of it from a collector.

  2. To be able recreate Thomas Minton’s Willow pattern to that amount of detail is astounding! I’ve been looking at your picture for 10 minutes now! 🙂 I’m simply amazed!
