Big Sandy Creek Falls

24″ x 36″ original oil painting on a gallery wrapped canvas

This is the third in my series of North Carolina waterfalls.  It is at the base of  the Big Sandy Creek Falls in Stone Mountain State Park near Elkin, NC.  The water falls approximately 200 feet down solid rock.  There are steps down to the bottom, but once you are down you have to climb back up.  It was worth every step.
